Abstract:
An electric water heater having a pressure adjustment feature. A water tank 8 is made from non-metallic material by blow molding or injection molding, or is made from metallic material. A pressure adjuster 12 is provided on the water inlet path of the water tank. The pressure adjuster is formed by a housing 12-1, a piston 12-2, a cap 12-3, and a rubber element 12-4. As the pressure inside of the water tank changes, the position of the piston 12-2 inside of the housing 12-1 also changes.
