Abstract:
An electrical cable for an electric power system, which has a skeleton, a transmission component, a first protection layer (6) located outside the skeleton, a second protection layer (7) located outside the first protection layer (6), a loose tube (9), and an optical fiber ribbon body (2) located inside the loose tube (9); the skeleton has a unique structure, the loose tube (9) and the transmission component are located within the skeleton, and the optical fiber ribbon body (2) is made via layering a plurality of optical fiber ribbons, where a plurality of optical fibers are within each optical fiber ribbon. Further involved is an optical-electrical composite cable. The present invention has the following primary beneficial technical effects: structurally more simple, easier to manufacture, quicker to produce, has a lower cost, and has a higher communication density/power transmission density.
