Abstract:
The invention relates to an electrical drive unit, in particular a hybrid module for a motor vehicle, for coupling to an internal combustion engine, and relates to a drive assembly for a motor vehicle, comprising an internal combustion engine and an electrical drive unit according to the invention. An electrical drive unit (1) comprises, in a housing (10), an electrical machine (20) and at least one coupling device (30), the electrical drive unit (1) comprising a coupling cover (40) which is connected to a rotor (21) of the electrical machine (20) for conjoint rotation, forming, at least in part, a torque-transfer path from the electrical machine (30) to the at least one output shaft, and the at least one coupling device (30) and the electrical machine (20) being disposed on opposite sides of the coupling cover (40), said coupling cover (40), together with a sealing element (52) of the electrical drive unit (1) forming a gap-type seal (50). The electrical drive unit according to the invention has the advantages of compact installation space requirements and low assembly complexity, allied to reliable operation and a long service life.
