Abstract:
Disclosed is an electrical storage unit which is provided with: an electrical storage section wherein the collector portions exposed from the surface, said portions being formed on both the ends of an element, are bonded to a terminal plate or an exterior case; and a pair of cooling plates which abut on the outer surface of the terminal plate of the electrical storage section or the outer bottom surface of the exterior case. Since heat can be dissipated from the electrical storage section as well as the cooling plate via a material having a high heat conductivity, such as a metal member, heat applied to the electrical storage section due to electrical charging/discharging can be efficiently cooled.
