Title:
ELECTRICITY DETECTOR USING AFTERGLOW
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2016/189863
Kind Code:
A1
Abstract:
[Problem] To simultaneously achieve, for example, simplification, reduced power consumption, and extended life by using a light emission unit that expresses the energized state of an electric path using afterglow or using, as a prescribed value, the duty ratio of the light emission time to the light emission period of a light emission unit that expresses the conducting state of the electric path using flashing light. [Solution] An electricity detector for inspecting the energization of an electric path R has a light emission unit 2 for expressing the energized state of the electric path R using afterglow or has a light emission unit 2 that expresses the energized state of the electric path R using flashing light and has a duty ratio of the light emission time τ to the light emission period T of 0.000001 to 0.500000. The electricity detector also has a rectifier 3 for converting the AC current from an AC electric path R' to DC current, a charge capacitor 4 that can store the charge from the rectifier 3, and a comparator 5 for determining whether the charge voltage V4 from the charge capacitor 4 is greater than or equal to a prescribed voltage value VS. When the charge voltage V4 is greater than or equal to the prescribed voltage value VS, the DC current from the charge capacitor 4 may cause the light emission unit 2 to emit light.
