Abstract:

The present invention relates to an electro-microneedle integrated body in which a dissolvable microneedle and an electricity transmitting electrode are integrated with each other to concentratedly and efficiently perform cutaneous gene release and gene introduction into target cells at a region to be treated, and a method of manufacturing same. The electro-microneedle integrated body according to the present invention includes: a base part; an electricity transmitting electrode including a plurality of electrode parts protruding from the base part, the electricity transmission electrode contacting skin of the human body to apply an electric field pulse; and a microneedle including a biocompatible and biodegradable viscous material and a dielectric material, the microneedle being attached to each of the electrode parts and inserted into the skin of the human body. Thus, the microneedle may be dissolved within the skin, and then, the electricity transmitting electrode applies the electric field pulse to a position in which the microneedle is inserted.
