Abstract:
An electro-optical assembly, comprising: a functional layer having a transparent conductive layer and an electro-optical material bonded thereto. The electro-optical material is in direct contact with the transparent conductive layer. The other side of the electro-optical material is bonded to a drive backplane. The electro-optical material comprises: a first glue layer (1), the first glue layer (1) being formed by a liquid first glue coated on a first release film (4); and a second glue layer (3) being formed by a liquid second glue covering section differences between capsules in an electrophoretic medium layer (2). The functional layer comprises at least one or any combination of a color filter layer, a light guide plate, a touch display layer, and a protective layer. Compared with electrophoretic display devices in the prior art, the PET part is removed, so that the loss of light energy can be reduced, and the display effect is effectively improved.
