Abstract:
The present invention contributes to the oscillation of highly directional acoustic waves with high efficiency. This electroacoustic transducer is equipped with: a piezoelectric vibrator; a casing that is provided with a predetermined space from the piezoelectric vibrator and has a frustum-shaped cutout in the inner wall thereof; and an acoustic absorption material that is fitted in the cutout. A sound hole section is formed in the casing in front of the piezoelectric vibrator in the oscillating direction thereof, and the cutout is formed in the casing such that the hole diameter of the sound path decreases toward the front end in the oscillating direction of the piezoelectric vibrator.
