Abstract:
This electrode foil for electrolytic capacitors comprises a metal foil that comprises a porous part and a core part that is continuous with the porous part. The metal foil has a main surface to which pores of the porous part open; and the porous part has a plurality of recesses that open to the main surface, while being dispersed in the form of dots in the surface direction of the metal foil. The opening diameters of the pores of the porous part are less than 2 μm, while the opening diameters of the recesses are not less than 2 μm.
