Abstract:
According to an embodiment, a electrolysis cell is provided with an electrolytic vessel (11) having a main body member (22) for forming an electrolytic liquid chamber and a cover member (24) assembled along the laminating direction of the main body member to form at least one generated water chamber, and a pair of electrodes (14, 20) opposing a diaphragm partitioning the electrolytic liquid chamber and the generated water chamber so as to interpose the electrolytic liquid chamber, at least one of the pair of electrodes (14, 20) being provided in the generated water chamber and the pair of electrodes (14, 20) being provided to line up with the diaphragm and the generated water chamber in the lamination direction. The outer contours of a cross section of the electrolytic vessel have a protrusion that projects on the outer side along the lamination direction.
