Abstract:
An electrolysis unit 1 comprises at least a plurality of electrolytic cells 2 for electrolyzing water. Each of the electrolytic cells 2 comprises a case 23 in the interior of which is defined an electrolysis chamber 20, and a diaphragm 24 for dividing the electrolysis chamber 20 into an anode-side anode chamber 21 and a cathode-side cathode chamber 22. The plurality of electrolytic cells 2 is a stack 5 in which the orientations of the diaphragms 24 are aligned and the cells are stacked in a direction D normal to the diaphragms 24.
