Abstract:
Provided is an electrolyte solution for lithium ion batteries, which has an improved oxidation-side potential in a potential window than ever before. An electrolyte solution for lithium ion secondary batteries, which contains a lithium salt of sulfonimide and water, and which also contains at least one kind of anion selected from the group consisting of orthophosphate ions, pyrophosphate ions, anions generated by dissociation of phosphorous acid or a salt thereof, and anions generated by dissociation of phosphinic acid or a salt thereof.
