Abstract:
This electrolytic capacitor is provided with: a capacitor element that is provided with a positive electrode part and a negative electrode part; an outer case that seals the capacitor element; a first external electrode that is electrically connected to the positive electrode part; and a second external electrode that is electrically connected to the negative electrode part. At least one of an end face of the positive electrode part and an end face of the negative electrode part of the capacitor element is exposed from the outer case, and is electrically connected to the first external electrode or the second external electrode. The end face exposed from the outer case is covered by an electroless Ni plating layer; and the electroless Ni plating layer is covered by an electroless Ag plating layer. Since the electroless Ag plating layer is covered by the first external electrode or the second external electrode, the ESR of this electrolytic capacitor is reduced.
