Abstract:
Provided is electrolyzed water capable of exhibiting antioxidant, antiviral, antimicrobial, sterilizing, anti-mold, freshness-preserving, deodorizing and other abilities over long periods by preventing the decomposition of HClO, which is the effective factor of electrolyzed water, when the HClO comes in contact with light or water and the inactivation thereof when mixed with substances containing proteins or amino acids. The present invention is characterized in that a chloride powder on which noble metal nanoparticles have been deposited is used as an electrolyzed water production starting material and an aqueous solution or dilute aqueous hydrochloric acid solution thereof is used as an electrolytic solution. Electrolysis of said electrolytic solution makes it possible to provide electrolyzed water comprising noble metal nanoparticles that solves the problems of conventional electrolyzed water. The present invention also provides: a method for producing the electrolyzed water production starting material characterized in that noble metal nanoparticles are deposited on chloride powder by physical vapor deposition; a method for producing an electrolytic solution characterized in that the chloride powder on which the noble metal nanoparticles have been loaded that has been produced by physical vapor deposition is dissolved in water; and a method for producing electrolyzed water characterized in that said electrolytic solution is electrolyzed.
