Title:
ELECTROMAGNETIC MACHINE
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO2000033441
Kind Code:
B1
Abstract:
The invention relates to an electromagnetic machine, comprising a rotating rotor (3; 103) and a stationary stator (4; 104) with pole shoes (12, 13; 112, 113). One of the two parts (3, 4; 103, 104) contains a magnetic exciter part (6, 7; 106, 107) and the other contains a wound induction part (16, 18; 115, 117). In a coverage state in which the rotor (3; 103) is aligned between the pole shoes (12, 13; 112, 113), a closed magnetic circuit is produced in which a magnetic flux flows. The rotor (3; 103) is sub-divided into parallel plates by at least one magnetically insulating first dividing layer (5; 105), each of these forming a magnetic bar (6, 7; 106, 107). The stator (4; 104) has at least one magnetically insulating second dividing layer (10; 110), which subdivides the stator (4; 104) into separate magnetic poles (14, 15; 119, 120).
