Abstract:
This electromagnetic wave detection device 10 comprises: a first image formation part 15 for forming incident electromagnetic waves into an image; a prism 17 including a fourth surface s4 that is a first emission surface for emitting the electromagnetic waves that have entered from the first image formation part 15; a travel unit 16 that has a plurality of pixels px arranged along a reference plane ss, and, for each pixel px, causes the electromagnetic waves from the fourth surface s4 that have fallen on the reference plane ss to travel in a specific direction; and a first detection unit 19 for detecting the electromagnetic waves that have traveled in the specific direction. At a position other than the travel path of the electromagnetic waves that have entered from the first image formation part 15 and are to be detected by the first detection unit 19, the prism 17 is provided with a reflection suppression part 90 for suppressing the incidence on the first detection unit 19 of unnecessary light resulting from reflection at an end surface of the prism 17.
