This electronic apparatus comprises a transmission antenna that transmits transmission waves, a reception antenna that receives reflected waves which are reflected transmission waves, and a control unit. The control unit detects a target at a given erroneous warning probability, on the basis of a transmission signal transmitted as the transmission wave and a reception signal received as the reflected wave. The control unit intermittently provides a reference region in the relative speed direction and the distance direction with an inspection region as a reference, in a two-dimensional distribution in the relative speed direction and the distance direction of signal intensity on the basis of the reception signal. The control unit sets a threshold value used in the detection of targets on the basis of the sequence statistic of signal intensity in the reference region.
