Abstract:
This electronic device comprises: a transmission antenna for transmitting a transmitted wave; a reception antenna for receiving a reflected wave, being the transmitted wave that has been reflected; a cover portion for covering at least a portion of at least one of the transmission antenna and the reception antenna; and a signal processing unit for detecting an object that reflected the transmitted wave, on the basis of at least one of a transmitted signal transmitted as the transmitted wave, and a received signal received as the reflected wave. At least a portion of at least one of the transmitted wave transmitted by the transmission antenna and the reflected wave received by the reception antenna is transmitted and/or received through the cover portion. A thickness of the cover portion is designed on the basis of magnitude squared coherence
