Abstract:
This invention relates to an electronic apparatus comprising a first housing, a second housing, and opening/closing equipment that causes the second housing to relatively open/close relative to the first housing between a closing position and an opening position. The opening/closing equipment comprises: a stand that is provided to the first housing; a base plate that is rotatably bearing-supported by the stand; a movement plate that is provided to the second housing and moveably provided to the base plate and that moves between a first position overlying the base plate and a second position protruding from the base plate; an energizing means that energizes the movement plate relative to the base plate in the direction of said protrusion; a movement regulation mechanism that is constituted by first and second members and that, when the base plate is at the closing position, regulates, by means of engagement of the first and second members, both the movement of the base plate relative to the stand and the movement of the movement plate relative to the base plate; and a movement energizing mechanism that, when the base plate moves from the opening position to the closing position, energizes, in accordance with such movement, the movement of the movement plate from the second position toward the first position. The first member is integrally provided to either the first housing or the second housing.
