Abstract:
The invention relates to a balance with a draft shield having a door that opens and closes smoothly automatically. Provided is an electronic balance (1) with a draft shield comprising: a balance body (30) having a weighing mechanism connected to a weighing pan (31); a draft shield (10) that covers the weighing pan (31) to form a weighing chamber (6); a slidable door (11) that is provided at the draft shield (10) and constitutes a part of the weighing chamber (6); a holder (16) that suspends and supports the door (11) from above; a guide member (20) that is engaged with the holder (16) and slidably supports the holder (16); and an air cylinder (40) that is connected to the holder (16) and causes, through the holder (16), the door (11) to slide. Since the holder (16) that suspends and supports the door (11) is directly moved by the air cylinder (40), the door (11) can be opened and closed smoothly.
