Abstract:
The present invention correctly recognizes the color of an input object used for inputting coordinates by correcting the influence of a light environment, making it possible to automatically specify a color to be used for drawing. The coordinates of the input object are detected by a coordinate detecting means. Then, display light near the coordinates on a display screen is estimated from display data, and a correction value for eliminating the influence of the display light is calculated. A captured image of the input object used for inputting an operation on the display screen is extracted, and the color of the captured image is corrected with a display color correction value. As a result, the influence of the display light reflected in the input object is eliminated, making it possible to identify the original color of the input object.
