Abstract:
Although an internal electronic circuit device connected to a connector terminal is protectable when a power supply fault occurs, a load connected to the connector terminal is not protectable. According to the present invention, when the voltage at the cathode side of a diode 107 becomes equal to or higher than the output voltage by a power supply circuit 108 due to the power supply fault of a positive-electrode-side terminal 100, the output voltage by an operation amplifier 105 changes from the output voltage (5 V) by the power supply circuit 108 to a voltage (0 V) connected to the negative power supply of the operation amplifier 105. When the output voltage by the operation amplifier 105 becomes 0 V, since the voltage difference between the gate and the source of a switching element 109 becomes equal to or lower than a prescribed voltage, the drain and the source of the switching element 109 becomes an open state, and thus the current flowing to a negative-electrode-side terminal 101 is cut off. Hence, a load 103 is protectable from an excess current.
