Abstract:
The present invention relates to an electronic component and, more specifically, to a surface-mount type electronic component provided in an electronic device. The electronic component according to an embodiment of the present invention comprises: a main body portion including a mounting surface; a coil portion wound in the main body portion; an electrode portion connected to the coil portion and provided on the main body to at least partially extend along the mounting surface; and a contracted portion which is formed in at least one portion of the coil portion facing the mounting surface and has a narrower line width than the other portion thereof.
