Abstract:
An electronic device capable of selectively performing normal charging and fast charging, according to an embodiment, may comprise: a battery which has a first surface and a second surface facing a different direction from the first surface, and includes a first connection member and a second connection member; a first PCB which is connected to the first connection member and disposed closer to the first surface than to the second surface of the battery; a second PCB which is connected to the second connection member and disposed closer to the second surface than to the first surface of the battery; a first charging IC and a second charging IC which supply power to the battery; a processor which is disposed at the first PCB and selects one of fast charging and normal charging of the battery on the basis of a charging algorithm; and a charging port which is connected to the second PCB, wherein the processor turns off the second charging IC in order to perform normal charging of the battery and turns on the second charging IC in order to perform fast charging of the battery, and the second charging IC is disposed at the second PCB and supplies power from the second PCB to the battery through the second connection member. Various other embodiments may also be possible.
