Abstract:
An electronic device may comprise: a power management circuit formed to charge a battery by means of a power signal; a processor connected to the power management circuit; and a memory connected to the processor. The memory may store instructions which, when executed, allow the processor to: confirm that the internal temperature of the electronic device has risen to a first temperature, while a current power signal value is a first charging current; set the power signal value to a heat control current which is lower than the first charging current, in accordance with the internal temperature of the electronic device rising to the first temperature; confirm that the internal temperature has dropped to a second temperature, while the power signal value is set to the heat control current; and set the power signal value to a second charging current which is lower than the first charging current and higher than the heat control current, in accordance with the internal temperature dropping to the second temperature.
