According to various embodiments of the present disclosure, an electronic device comprises: a housing including a first housing and a second housing configured to guide slide movement of the first housing; a display which is configured to be at least partially unfolded on the basis of the slide movement of the first housing, and comprises a first display area disposed on the first housing and a second display area extending from the first display area; a battery disposed in the first housing; a driving unit configured to provide a driving force for the slide movement relative to the first housing, the driving unit comprising a motor disposed in the first housing and a gear structure including a gear that is at least partially disposed in the second housing and is connected to the motor; and an elastic material which includes a material that is compressible, and is arranged to provide an elastic restoring force, and is disposed in the second housing, wherein the gear structure may be disposed adjacent to one end of the battery, and the elastic member may be disposed adjacent to the other end of the battery facing in the opposite direction from the one end of the battery.
