Abstract:
An electronic device according to various embodiments of the present disclosure comprises: a first housing; a second housing slidably coupled to the first housing; a flexible display in which the size of a display area is reduced or expanded on the basis of sliding-in or sliding-out driving of the second housing; a drive motor; a pinion gear connected to the drive motor; a rack gear which engages with the pinion gear so as to be driven; and a rack cover coupled to the rack gear, wherein the rack cover may comprise a first blocking mechanism for blocking external foreign matter from being introduced into the rack cover, and the rack gear may comprise a second blocking mechanism for blocking external foreign matter from being introduced into the rack gear.
