Abstract:
The present application relates to an optical device, comprising in the following order: a first outer substrate; a liquid crystal cell; and a second outer substrate, wherein the liquid crystal cell includes: an upper substrate including a first base layer and an adhesive layer; a lower substrate including a second base layer and a spacer; and a liquid crystal layer including a liquid crystal compound between the upper substrate and the lower substrate, and further includes a first intermediate layer between the first outer substrate and the liquid crystal cell and a second intermediate layer between the second outer substrate and the liquid crystal cell, wherein a cell gap of the liquid crystal cell is properly maintained, the upper substrate and the lower substrate have excellent adhesion, and the phenomenon of the liquid crystal cell being pressed and overflowing when the outer substrate is bonded can be addressed.
