Abstract:
An electronic device according to an embodiment of the present invention comprises: an interface unit; a sensor; and a processor that identifies whether or not a user event corresponding to a content transmission command has occurred, on the basis of a signal detected via the sensor, and performs a content transmission operation between external apparatuses via the interface unit on the basis of the identified user event, wherein the processor may identify whether or not the occurrence of the user event is expected, on the basis of acquired surrounding situation information, when it is identified that the occurrence of the user event is expected, increase the recognition sensitivity of the sensor, and identify the user event on the basis of a signal detected via the sensor having the increased recognition sensitivity.
