Abstract:
In an electronic device according to various embodiments, the electronic device may comprise a display and a processor, wherein the processor: identifies a first area, in which a video is played back, on a screen; generates a first frame corresponding to the first area; generates a second frame corresponding to a second area differing from the first area; determines brightness of the second frame on the basis of an input factor related to a state of the electronic device; synthesizes the first frame, the brightness of which has not been changed, and the second frame, the brightness of which has been changed to the determined brightness; and controls the display to display the synthesized frame on the display. Various other embodiments may be possible.
