Abstract:
An electronic device according to various embodiments of the present disclosure comprises: a motion sensor; a memory; and at least one processor operatively coupled to the memory and the motion sensor, wherein the processor may be configured to: calculate a vector on the basis of a sensor value received from the motion sensor; check a change in time of the x-axis angle and the y-axis angle of the vector; detect a start time and an end time of a designated movement on the basis of the change; and calculate exercise information on the basis of the start time and the end time.
