Abstract:
An electronic device, according to various embodiments disclosed in the present document, may comprise: a camera; a distance measuring sensor capable of measuring a distance between an external object and an electronic device; a processor; and a memory operatively connected to the processor. According to various embodiments, the memory may store instructions that, when executed, cause the processor to: acquire an image through the camera; recognize an external object by analyzing the acquired image; measure the distance between the external object and the electronic device by using the distance measuring sensor; and control, on the basis of the measured distance, at least one of a light emission time per pulse, the number of pulses used, and a modulation frequency of pulsed light outputted through the distance measuring sensor. Other various embodiments are possible.
