Abstract:
The present invention relates to a gas expansion power generation system. A gas expansion power generation system according to an embodiment of the present invention includes: a heating unit for increasing the temperature of natural gas; a flow rate adjustment unit for adjusting the flow rate of the natural gas; and a power generation unit for reducing the pressure of the natural gas and expanding the natural gas, and generating electric power using energy generated when the natural gas is expanding. The natural gas sequentially moves in the order of the heating unit, the flow rate adjustment unit, and the power generation unit, and the heating unit is supplied with a heat source from waste heat generated in a natural gas reforming process or waste heat generated in an electric power generating process using a fuel cell.
