Abstract:
Various embodiments of the present disclosure disclose a method and a device for correcting a fall determination criterion in an electronic device. An electronic device according to various embodiments comprises: a sensor module; a memory; and a processor operatively connected to the sensor module and the memory, wherein the processor may be configured to: obtain sensing data from the sensor module; determine whether a fall situation is triggered, on the basis of the sensed data; if it is determined that the fall situation is triggered, determine a first state of a user; if the first state of the user corresponds to a specified condition, disregard the triggering of the fall situation; correct first threshold information related to the first state of the user; and apply the corrected first threshold information to reference information for determining a fall to monitor the triggering of the fall situation. Various embodiments are possible.
