Title:
ELECTRONIC WATT-HOUR METER, ERROR ADJUSTING METHOD, AND POWER CALCULATING CIRCUIT
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2003/060531
Kind Code:
A1
Abstract:
Adjustment of the amplitude and phase balance can be realized only by applying the rated power having a power-factor of “1.0” to an electronic watt-hour meter. An adjustment switch (272) is depressed to input the rated power having a power-factor of “1.0” to an electronic watt-hour meter (200), thereby balance-adjusting the variations of the amplitudes of the outputs from a current converter circuit (223) and from a voltage converter circuit (224), and adjusting the phases from the values of the active and reactive powers. A full-adjustment is performed from the established rated value and from the calculation result of the power amount, and then the adjusted values are stored into an EEPROM (273). During metering, the adjusted values stored in the EEPROM (273) are used for adjustment, whereby a precise power amount can be obtained.
