Abstract:
The present invention addresses the problem of providing an a electrophotographic base material: having layers that are easily separated and recovered when recovering and recycling paper after use; that does not wrinkle when using an adhesive during lamination; that has sufficient metallic luster as the result of a metal vapor-deposited layer; and that enables printing to be reliably performed by means of electrophotography. As a means of solving the above-mentioned problem, an electrophotographic base material obtained as follows is provided: base paper, a water-soluble adhesive layer comprising a water-soluble or water-dispersible adhesive having solid content of 3–5 g/m2, a metallic layer, and a polyamide resin layer are laminated in that order.
