Title:
ELECTROPHOTOGRAPHIC PHOTOCONDUCTOR, COPYING MACHINE USING SAME, AND DOPE FOR FORMING PHOTOSENSITIVE LAYER THEREOF
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2013/069417
Kind Code:
A1
Abstract:
Provided are: an electrophotographic photoconductor which exhibits high environmental feasibility (since a binder resin using a cellulose compound of plant origin is utilized as a material of the photosensitive layer), high photoelectric conversion performance, and high durability (wear resistance) and which encourages in earnest the employment of a substitute for a conventional electrophotographic photoconductor itself or a member thereof; a copying machine using the same; and a dope for use in the same. An electrophotographic photoconductor bearing a photosensitive layer on a conductive support, wherein the binder resin constituting the photosensitive layer contains a cellulose compound which has moieties formed by replacing hydroxyl hydrogen atoms of cellulose by a hydrocarbon group (RA) and an acyl group (-CO-RB) respectively, RB being a hydrocarbon group.
