Abstract:
An electrospinning device of an embodiment has: a conveyance device for conveying base material in the vertical direction; a head unit which is disposed so as to face the base material conveyed by the conveyance device and which is caused by application of voltage to discharge fiber feedstock, thereby forming a coating of fibers on the base material; and a regulator disposed in a position on at least one end-side of the head unit in the vertical direction and whereto is applied a voltage of the same polarity as the voltage applied to the head unit, generating an electric field in the vicinity of the position on said one end-side of the head unit.
