Abstract:
This electrostatic-coupling-type non-contact power supply apparatus is provided with power supply electrodes and a high-frequency power supply circuit, which are provided in a fixed section; and power receiving electrodes and a power receiving circuit, which are provided in a movable section. The power supply electrodes are disposed in parallel in the moving direction of the movable section, and are configured from a plurality of segmented electrodes that are individually supplied with power from the high-frequency power supply circuit. The electrostatic-coupling-type non-contact power supply apparatus is also provided with: a plurality of switches, which are respectively connected to between the high-frequency power supply circuit and the segmented electrodes, and which are capable of being independently opened and closed; a current detecting circuit, which separately detects segmented currents flowing in the segmented electrodes, respectively; and a switch control unit, which controls to close merely some of the switches on the basis of the level and/or the increase/reduction state of the segmented currents that change due to movement of the movable section. Consequently, compared with conventional cases, power supply efficiency is improved in the non-contact power supply using the electrodes.
