Abstract:
[Problem] To provide an element production method capable of covering effectively the portion of a substrate irradiated by a laser beam.
[Solution] A plurality of protruding parts of an intermediate product are arranged along a first direction over a substrate; in addition, a sealing mechanism has a pair of rollers, each rotating while centered on a rotation axis extending in a second direction orthogonal to the first direction. The pair of rollers are arranged to be spaced in the first direction. Then, in a sealing step using the sealing mechanism, the portion of a lid material stretching between the pair of rollers is brought in tight contact with a portion of the intermediate product. In addition, in an irradiation step, light reaches the intermediate product by passing through the portion of the lid material stretching between the pair of rollers.
