Abstract:
Provided is an elevator buffer cap fixing device which detachably fixes, to the upper end of a shock absorber, a buffer cap that supports an elevator car or a counterweight so that the elevator car or the counterweight does not descend below the upper end position of the shock absorber, the elevator buffer cap fixing device being characterized by comprising a dust-proof cover that covers the shock-absorbing portion of the shock absorber, an elastic body, one side of which is fixed in the vicinity of the upper end of the shock absorber, and which is disposed together with the dust-proof cover during normal time, while in use, disposed in a state of extending above the upper end of the shock absorber, and a notch that is provided at the upper end of the buffer cap and can engage with the elastic body, the elastic body engaging with the notch when in use to urge the upper end of the buffer cap downward from above.
