Abstract:
An elevator device is provided which can prevent a compensation rope from entering the evacuation space of a hoistway pit. This elevator device is provided with a car 4 which ascends and descends the hoistway, a balance weight 5 which ascends and descends the hoistway in the direction opposite of the car 4, a compensation rope 9 which is suspended connected at one end to the bottom of the balance weight 5 and connected at the other end to the bottom of the car 4, a compensation rope support member 13 which supports said other end of the compensation rope 9, and a compensation rope hanging position adjusting bracket 11 which movably supports the compensation rope support member 13, wherein the compensation rope hanging position adjusting bracket 11 has multiple adjustment recesses (12a, 12b, 12c) which engage the compensation rope support member 13, and the adjustment recesses have a curved portion in the direction of movement of the compensation rope support member 13.
