Abstract:
This elevator car top handrail device is provided with a left-side handrail, a right-side handrail, and a rear handrail. The rear handrail is provided with a joint portion in which a left-side rear handrail member and a right-side rear handrail member are connected with each other. The joint portion: is provided with an engagement pin provided on one of the left-side rear handrail member and the right-side rear handrail member, and an engagement groove provided on the other; and connects the left-side rear handrail member and the right-side rear handrail member with each other by engaging the engagement pin with the engagement groove. The engagement groove has a first groove portion where the engaging/releasing of the engagement pin can be performed and a second groove portion that is formed continuously with the first groove portion. The second groove portion receives the engagement pin when a downward force has been applied to the joint portion and maintains the joint state between the left-side rear handrail member and the right-side rear handrail member.
