Abstract:
Quietness in an elevator car is sufficiently enhanced and adjusting work of a soundproof
member is facilitated. The length (L1) in the width direction of a sound absorbing
material (18) is set to a dimension exhibiting a sufficient sound absorbing function.
External noise entering the car from a minute gap, having a minute distance (11),
through an opening (9) advances toward the opening (9) side while repeating reflection
between the surface of a panel member (15) and the surface of the sound absorbing
material (18). The majority of the energy of the noise has been absorbed and dissipated
at the time when the noise is in the vicinity of lower end of the sound absorbing
material (18). Consequently, noise entering up to the opening (9) is extremely
low and sufficiently high quietness is maintained in the car.
