The present invention provides an elevator car which is configured in such a manner that the gap between a lower hermetic material and a vertical frame which is located below the side portion of a sliding door, which faces the direction of opening of the sliding door, is closed to prevent the occurrence of wind noise caused by the difference in pressure between the inside and outside of the car compartment. An elevator car according to the present invention comprises: a car compartment; a sliding door (6) for opening and closing the doorway of the car compartment; a sill (8) disposed below the sliding door and guiding the lower portion of the sliding door; a lower hermetic material (10) disposed below the sliding door and closing a gap in the width direction of the sliding door, the gap being formed between the sliding door and the sill when the doorway is closed; a side hermetic material (11) disposed at the side portion of the sliding door, which faces the direction of opening of the sliding door, and closing a vertical gap when the doorway is closed, the vertical gap being formed between the sliding door and a vertical frame (4) which constitutes the doorway; and a lower-end corner hermetic material (12) disposed below the side portion of the sliding door, which faces the direction of opening of the sliding door, and closing the gap between the vertical frame and the lower hermetic material when the doorway is closed.
