Abstract:
An elevator counterweight device, wherein a slit is provided on a top frame. A connection fitting is fixed to the top frame and has a horizontal portion that abuts the bottom face of the top frame and a projecting portion that projects down from the horizontal portion. A pulley retaining member has a retaining section that retains a counterweight pulley, an intermediate section that penetrates the top frame in the vertical direction by passing through the slit, and a fixing section that projects down below the top frame. The fixing section is fixed to the projecting portion by a fixture.
