Abstract:
An elevator door device capable of determining whether a door is fully open or fully closed using a single position switch is provided. The elevator door device is thus provided with: a position switch having two sets of light emitters and receivers which are disposed side by side in the vertical direction; a first shield for shielding etc. light from a lower light emitter to a lower light receiver when the door is in a state of being completely closed or completely open; and a second shield for simultaneously shielding etc. light from the lower light emitter to the lower light receiver and light from an upper light emitter to an upper light receiver when the door is in the other state of being completely closed or completely open. The second shield comprises: a first shield section for blocking etc. light from the lower light emitter to the lower light receiver when the door is in the other state of being completely closed or completely open; and a second blocking section formed more widely in the door opening/closing direction than the first blocking section in such a manner as to block etc. light from the upper light emitter to the upper light receiver when the first blocking section is blocking etc. light from the lower light emitter to the lower light receiver.
