The present invention provides an elevator maintenance system which can determine a prioritized remote controller according to a situation and perform a safer and more appropriate maintenance and inspection work when an installation remote controller installed on a car and a portable remote controller carried by maintenance staff can be used together. To this end, the elevator maintenance system of the present invention is characterized by having an installation remote controller installed on a car, a portable remote controller which can be carried, and a control device that controls raising or lowering of the car according to an operation of the installation remote controller or the portable remote controller, wherein the control device controls the raising or lowering of the car in a mode among an installation remote controller mode in which a communication line with the portable remote controller is cut off and a communication line with the installation remote controller is effective and a portable remote controller mode in which the communication line with the installation remote controller is cut off and the communication line with the portable remote controller is effective.
