Abstract:
Disclosed is an elevator operating device which, in an elevator provided with a destination floor reservation device, can prevent users with a slow walking speed from missing the elevator and can reliably prevent users from being unnecessarily caused to wait at boarding floors. A destination floor reservation device is installed in a location away from the elevator landing, and users register their personal information and destination floor at the abovementioned destination floor reservation device prior to boarding. Furthermore, an input device is installed at the elevator landing for the abovementioned users to input their personal information therewith. Then, when a destination floor is registered at the destination floor reservation device, an elevator is dispatched to the boarding floor, and after the elevator has been dispatched to the boarding floor, the elevator is held in standby with doors open while there are users who have not inputted their personal information at the input device among the users who had registered their personal information at the destination floor reservation device.
