Abstract:
An elevator system comprises: a car position acquisition unit that acquires the car position detected by a car position detection device; a car altitude acquisition unit that calculates and acquires the car altitude on the basis of the atmospheric pressure detected by an absolute pressure sensor; and a processing unit that generates car position/altitude information by associating the car position acquired by the car position acquisition unit with the car altitude acquired by the car altitude acquisition unit, wherein the processing unit, where the acquisition of the car position is possible, outputs the car position acquired from the car position acquisition unit as the car position information, and where the acquisition of the car position is impossible, calculates the car position corresponding to the car altitude, which has been acquired from the car altitude acquisition unit, as the car estimation position according to the car position/altitude information, and outputs the calculated car estimation position as the car position information.
